This page explains what information Straight Six Studio collects, what we do with it and who we share it with. Straight Six Studio is a sole proprietorship based on Long Island, New York. When this page says “we” or “us,” it means Straight Six Studio.
The short version
- We only collect what you send us and what we need to do the work and bill for it.
- We never sell your personal information.
- Stripe handles card and bank payments. We never see or store full card or bank account numbers.
- This site doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form
The form on our home page asks for your name, your shop name, your email, your phone number (optional), your current website (optional), what you’re interested in, and anything else you want to tell us (optional).
When you book a call
Our booking calendar is run by Google Calendar. When you book, Google collects the details you enter, like your name and email, and sends them to us so we can set up the call.
When you email or call us
We keep the emails you send us and notes from our calls, so we can follow up and do the work you ask for.
When you become a client
We keep billing details, like your business name, billing contact, address and payment history. We also keep the photos, logos, text and other materials you give us for your website and branding.
How payments are handled
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay by card or bank transfer, your details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or bank account number.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and get back to you
- To provide the services you sign up for
- To bill you for those services
- To send you the occasional message about your service, like a billing notice or an update on your site
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Call and text services for shops
Some shops hire us to handle calls and texts for them, like texting back after a missed call, answering the phone after hours or sending review requests.
When we do that, we handle information from the shop’s customers on the shop’s behalf. That can include names, phone numbers, vehicle details and messages. We use it only to provide that service to the shop. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share phone numbers or text message consent with anyone for their own marketing.
Anyone who gets texts through these services can reply STOP at any time to opt out.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet legal and tax requirements.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Still, no system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be lost or accessed without permission.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses. They are not meant for anyone under 13.
Questions or deletion requests
To ask a privacy question, or to ask us to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, email alex@straightsixstudio.com. We may need to keep some records, like invoices, to meet legal and tax requirements.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. You can also read our Terms of Service.
